When do I receive my rewards?
If you support my project on BackerKit, you’ll get an inside look at my creative process and follow along the manufacturing process. When the campaign ends successfully, your card will be charged with the pledged amount. 2-3 weeks after the campain, I will send out a link to the pledgemanager, where you can choose your designs, add additional add-ons and pay for shipping. After the pledge manager closes I can order all of the products we unlocked: I use your pledgemanager results to estimate how much of each product I need, to keep waste and cost down. I will inform you in regular updates throughout this process. Your rewards ship in December or January and, depending on your location and holiday-related shipping delays, will arrive a few days or weeks later. You can find shipping estimates below.

I am from the UK, why can’t I pledge?
Because of the UK VAT regulations, I cannot accept your pledge or your order in the preorder store. For this I apologise, I know it’s annoying. Once the project has successfully funded and the preorder store opens, I will open UK-only preorders on my Etsy store. Etsy will then deal with the VAT regulations, meaning both of us can relax and you should have no customs or VAT issues when you take delivery of your preorder items.

I changed my mind and don’t want to pledge anymore, what can I do?
If the project is still live, so the funding period has not ended (it ends on September 26th), you can simply cancel your pledge at no cost to you. However, keep in mind that this means you lose any Early Bird benefits you may have.
If the campaign has succesfully funded and is no longer active, you can no longer cancel your pledge. Unfortunately, I cannot provide you with a refund, as your pledge is used to make this project a reality.

How are you shipping the rewards; how long does it take and what does it cost?
I ship all rewards using DHL/Deutsche Post. All rewards are shipped in sturdy cardboard boxes or cardboard envelopes. All shipments also have a tracking number, so you can stay informed of where your package is.
Turnaround time varies, you can find an estimate below. If your pledge is shipped in December, holiday delays might also affect your shipment. Please allow a few extra days before you contact me about your shipment - unfortunately I only get same information as you do.

How are customs and taxes handled?
If you pledge from within the EU, you should not need to pay any taxes upon delivery as a private customer. If you pledged from outside of the EU, customs fees and taxes might apply when or before you take delivery. I will add an invoice to your parcel, which should help you with any inquiries. What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
